ATC Participate is Auckland Theatre Company's innovative engagement programme that encourages audiences to become active participants and supports theatre-makers and artists to work outside their comfort zones and alongside Auckland's diverse communities.
Check out our first story collecting project as part of the AUT Dominion Road Stories in association with Auckland Libraries.
Auckland Theatre Company's Education Department incorporates two distinct areas:
school-based and participatory learning experiences.
"Everything is connected, nothing happens in a vacuum and that's demonstrated by the
number of young people who start out doing Summer School or The Next Big Thing and
end up appearing in or working on Main Bill shows or on other community projects.
- Lynne Cardy Associate Director interviewed by Dionne Christian
